According to Andy Townsend anyway. Do you all agree with this?

I must admit I have never felt Pep was a good man manager. Obviously, a brilliant coach and probably the best football mind EVER but I always felt his personality is the type where if as a player you cant self motivate then you would fail under Pep.
When Arteta left I thought it could fall apart from the man-management part. The start of the season could very well have seen things go in that direction.
I am an Environmental Consultant by profession and in my job when clients approach me for advise I dont reel out Environmental legislation or knowledge for the sake of it. I always look to provide solutions, its something I feel a professional should always do.
I feel like Pep always looks and finds solutions to football problems. In his second season we play the entire season without a recognised left back and Otamendi in defense because Kompany and Mendy were injured.
In his 3rd season we play without Debruyne for most of the season and Fernandinho for the last half of the season and without a recognised left back. But he found a way to win the laegue against a motivated Liverpool.
This season he is finding solutions without a striker. Compare that to the best manager currently (Klopp) who cant win games against the bottom 6 because of some serious injuries.
Klopp does remind me of Jose, Wenger etc , Amazing man managers but tactically arent up there.
Sometimes I wonder if its worth comparing tactically biased managers against Man managers.
For instance I think Ole is a very good man manager. Just doesnt have a recruitment team as good as Klopp has.
Am I looking at this all too simplistically?
Pep is the Greatest Coach of the PL

comparing him to Klopp
look at the net spend and then start again
Pep has pretty much had whatever funds he's wanted at city, if anything he's under achieved given his record in Europe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Net spend
Your players still cost 70 million, regardless of net spend.
Net spend is such a shiiiiiiit argument

The best comments on this thread were on the first page. After that it just seemed to turn into a pssing contest that focused mainly on transfer spend instead of a discussion about actual coaching.

Why’s that you do realise what it is right
It’s makes a massive difference spending hundreds of millions more net spend over 4-5 years

Thats the nature of some liverpool fans, saying Pep is a good coach appears to them as saying Klopp is a bad coach so they have to mention the expensive full backs and their great net spend.
Some scouser said Klopp built the team on a limited budget . Klopp is No 10 on the list of the highest spending managers for the last 10 years.
