Rev, I’ve got nowt to prove to you, you said you live 200
miles away yet I spent 8 years driving 380 miles for every home home game and whatever away games. It isn’t a Willy waving contest in that respect. Your own fans have called you out for your constant flip flopping despite not actually watching games.

You spouted off. I corrected you. Its happened before. You talk too much. You cant even put the right title in..."Worst team in History"....its "Worst team in Premier League History while Notts Forest were in League one". You were in League 1 kid. Not even on our level. Yet you talk about it. What you need to do is understand football. I enjoyed your money by the way.

Tommo, it’s commendable that you made such an effort - I don’t knock that for 1 minute, but as I said for me...living 200 miles away, 3 kids and work made it impossible for me to make such a journey and commitment - truth be told, I had more important priorities than spending so much time and money on football - but as I said, I’ve spent a fair few pounds over the years and in my younger days was a 20 year season ticket holder and followed them home and away
Now, even more so, I’m not as enthusiastic as I once was...the money involved in football and the PrimaDonnas involved make it even less appealing
But Forest are my team, they always will be, and I don’t feel I need to justify my position or commitment to them to anyone
If you want to call yourself a more committed football supporter than me - that’s totally your prerogative, but it doesn’t worry me in the slightest - my security or identity isn’t wrapped up in how much I spend on my football team

Backo you seem to imply your team has never fallen from such heights - I suggest you go and look where you lot were in the mid 80’s with your attendances around 9,000

You were trying to imply that I’m somehow not a true supporter, because I don’t go to matches or watch them live anymore - I was simply saying my support to Forest goes back 40 years, and just because I don’t spend the money I once did, or watch them live as much as I once did, doesn’t make me any less of a supporter

Rev, interpret what I have said however you want, facts are that you are the first to criticise your own team despite not actually watching the game! You have been called out by your own fans recently

Again, why is that such a bad thing or deemed some appropriate as though you can use it as leverage to use against me - the whole point of being a football supporter is to cheers, criticise, moan, encourage and be downright pi$$ed off with the entire club at times - the whole range of emotions is what being a supporter is all about - I’d be worried if I didn’t have such volatile reactions at times
I don’t care what other supporters including Forest supporters think of my reactions to how the team and Club in general are doing - for me, I wear my heart on my sleeve, and my passion willl be felt by all who are around me - positive or negative
I can assure you tomorrow, by 3pm I’ll be right behind the team cheering them on, but come 5pm I’ll probably be slating them for their inept performance, who knows?
That doesn’t make me ‘bipolar’ in your words, I think it just makes me honestly passionate
But that is what following a team is all about IMO - you take the good with the bad, but you still there with them at the end of the day....even in League one....yes and even with just 11 points too
