To be fair, “shocked” is a perfectly good description for how Liverpool played in the last 15 minutes.

Given how the game had gone I was pretty shocked when we equalised.

And then very shocked how Liverpool played for the rest of the game

I have to say I agree with the op. The headline I saw on BBC website was Liverpool lose at Leicester not Leicester beat Liverpool.
We are the only team to be in the top four all season after spending most of last season in second place.
BR has beaten Liverpool and Chelsea for the first time, we won at Arsenal for first time since the 70s and thrashed Man City at their place.
At some point we might be taken seriously by the media but, in the meantime, I am happy for us to stay under the radar.

Why is what a shock?

I’m shocked that people are shocked by this. Liverpool are a bigger draw than Leicester, so headlines will always be designed to generate the most interest.

Simple journalism no? Now if the article then made out that it was a shock result and nobody could have predicted it, that’s another matter. But it doesn’t. Shock.

It was a pretty big shock when Liverpool are winning, on top of the game, then suddenly three goals are knocked in, in nine minutes. Overall not a shock but having watched the game it certainly came as a shock.

Are we saying it is a shock that it’s a shock but wasn’t really a shock so we shouldn’t be shocked. If this is the shock then I’m shocked it’s the shock.

I'm happy for Leicester to remain under the radar, and Brendan has said the same thing.
