Ha ha I was as surprised as anyone about that. I also think it was just a lucky time to post a thread as I'm not sure that 490 comments where anything to do with the original post🤔. I think I'll slink back to relative obscurity from here on in.

No don't do that, we need diversity!

I've never thought that United were ever in any real threat of relegation...I get that another few points would bring a level of comfort, but it does appear to be a fight between Ross County, Hamilton and one other

When you get a streak of 8 games where you manage 4 draws, 4 losses, 4 points, 4 goalless games, 5 goals for and 14 against, then relegation comes hurtling towards you.
A couple of wins later and things are looking stable again, but it can change very quickly. I'll only class United as safe if we sneak into the top 6.

I think after the past 4/5 seasons most Dundee United fans are very wary of how bad we can make life for ourselves so yeah a few more points would ease those lingering doubts. I keep waiting for Kilmarnock to turn their results around (probably against us) but so far they just keep losing and are being drawn into the fight with everyone else gaining a point here and there.

I think the best thing for the league would be to rid ourselves of atleast one of the plastic pitches, if not both this season- with relegation. Every club (except two) benefits from this scenario. If one or both go down, is there any appetite for a rule change to prevent another artificial pitch being promoted into the top league?

Adly binman, there are currently three plastic pitches ruining football in our league, Killie, Livi and Hami
