With Newcastle coming to Old Trafford tomorrow night, it’s time for us to make a real title statement. City have a very, very tricky game against Arsenal before we play and if they slip up (I think Arsenal will win) then we have to destroy the Geordies to show City who the real kings are. Bruce will no doubt come with a double decker bus so I think we must start Cavani, Rashford and Mata as the front 3. Cavani for his clever movement, Rashford for his Rashford-ness and Mata because he’s top quality at picking passes out to break negative teams down.
Not many are quite as good as Mata in this league when it comes to vision, creativity and chance creation in the final third. With the bus parked and physical style of Newcastle, I expect we will get a few free kicks in good positions and Mata can be deadly at set pieces. We all saw last season how a few defeats saw City implode and if they lose tomorrow, a defeat by us at The Etihad in two weeks will surely be the final nail in Pep’s golden coffin.

By the way, a victory for us tomorrow takes us 9 clear of Liverpool. Who’d have dared to dream that it would take Ole less than 7 months of a new season to finish Klopp off for good!

I love how, just because I stick to my opinion and back Ole, people start calling me a WUM and get all abusive. It’s pathetic and some of you should be ashamed at how you treat me. I’m a United fan, I’ve proven that on Instagram when people said I was Robb from Australia. I’m not going anywhere and neither is my love for this club, nor my loyalty towards the manager.
