Reading the feedback from some of you guys on how much he is influencing the games he played in...maybe he will make a better captain than Howson...
The way he is described by some of you guys, he is the agressive midfield player, attacks and defends well and yet creative...maybe he could be our future 'Bremmer" ...
so what if he's young...
Adam Clayton: Maybe he should be..

But I think anything approaching a half decent offer & Howson will re-sign.
--------------------
Bearing in mind your insistence that Kapser and Gradel would not be sold I am now going to go out and put money on Howson going!
Re Clayton as Captain, he's played about 12 games for us, let's let him contibue the great job he is doing so far with the extra burden of being captain.

Grow up Jonty. Kasper was seen as surplus to requirements, something no one on here predicted. Gradel had family reasons for wanting to leave. Neither of these will apply to Howson. The only thing that could turn his head would be a silly money offer to the club followed up by a significant increase in wages offer from a top 10 PL club.

I agree with Jonty, Clayton for captain.

Boggers, you were adamant neither of those 2 would leave.
You had most of 606 in stitches when you kept going on about Kasper not going and then literally 20 minutes later the news was on the website that he'd been sold to Leicester.
Every time you say someone's not going to leave, they leave!
If you can't handle your predictions being wrong, maybe better not to make predictions Boggers.

Yes I am cynical but at the moment our club appears to want to cash in on any player that can be sold.
Results off the pitch are more important to some than winning matches.
Recent transfer dealings have in general been pathetic.
I think if tickets were much cheaper then fans would accept the lack of ambition.

Ticket prices are fine, can't see what all the fuss is about!

So you cant see that gates are falling?
So you cant see there are many that are very unhappy?
So you cant see that £612 is far too expensive to attract new season ticket applicants?

Can't see any of that, my head is in the sand, I'm an ostrich. I'm an ostrich that can afford to buy tickets when I want to go to see Leeds United.
What you have to realise is 'your point has been made' don't keep boring us with it, you'll become dreary and repetitive!
(I can't believe I said 'become' in that last sentence!!)
