So, March 8th is the date when things start reverting to the normal - even talk of getting fans back in before the end of the season......
Something happened on Friday night - we lost - and whilst it was annoying it was better than gaining a point at Wycombe and then drawing with Watford. So, trebles all round
Intriguing returns to PP on Tuesday night. I always thought that if you'd been sacked, you were not to come back to that place of employment....watch Keogh show us exactly why we missed him earlier in the season. Also Duane is back - again watch for him to show us - didn't he score twice on Saturday?
I understand that Clarke will be available for Tuesday night and will go straight into the team which is a pity Ade Edmundson who acquitted himself well against Watford. It will be interesting to see if Wayne continues with the 'horses for courses' approach and continue with Byrne and Buchanan as our dashing wing-backs. Did Patrick Roberts do enough to be recalled?
ERRATUM:- just heard that Clarke is very doubtful for the game.

Whatever you think of who was to blame for the accident and the fallout afterwards, you have to give Keogh a lot of credit for managing to rebuild his career having been without a club and with what seemed at the time to be a career-threatening injury. Even those of us who didn’t rate him particularly highly will surely agree that he has done really well to get back to this level.

That’s why I said “No matter what you think of who was to blame for the accident and the fallout afterwards” Scouse. I can see both sides of the argument there. I don’t think either player or club emerged with much credit. I suppose it’s to be expected that fans will interpret events according to their pre-existing prejudices.

Yeah I don't think Keogh wanted it to end the way it did at Derby. Was a good servant and player for us.
Good point Hennessy about not many teams playing with flair this year, Bommo, Brentford and Swansea perhaps the most passing of the teams. I think Gregory suffered from our set up a bit last night. Having to chase out wide as we were getting done on the wings and then getting no service when Knight went into a three man MF. I'd like to see him up top on his own against a team that gives us space but hard to drop the leg at the moment.
Thought Udders went from a top 6 side at the start of the game to a relegated side without a paddle at the end.

Yeah credit to Rooney and the coaching team for that last bit. After the first ten minutes we contained them very easily.

The Keogh prior to the car crash injury would probably have caught Waghorn before he could shoot. When those long legs got going they could cover some ground in a short time.

I noticed Byrne made the tackle that almost certainly stopped them scoring from point-blank range very early on.
What a signing he's turning out to be.
