by law hes not offside but the rules/laws on it are wrong imo and a lot of peoples. The guy was forced to defend it by mount and girouds gained advantage from being offside during it. Similar to that villa one vs City, in that its offside and the defenders being forced into mistake, players are often flagged offside without touching the ball or before, but this stands?

Correct call but one of those laws that prob needs changing.

Forced to defend it but not forced to kick it over his own head. Micky Droy would've put that in row Z. This law will not be changed.

No one asked him to hook it over his head towards his own goal!

All he had to do was hammer it as far down field as he could!

It shows that the City one was fine, it makes sense in a game of football. If the defender attempts to play the ball and makes a mistake leading to the ball going to the offside player, it is fair game and a new phase of play.
