Forest have been putting together increasingly strong performances without always getting the result that they deserved, against Swansea for example.
However Chris Hughton is putting out a team tailored for each particular game and proving his detractors wrong with winning goals provided by Alex Mighten & Ryan Yates respectively. Indeed we had the ball in the back of Rotherham's net three times before one of them counted.
Chris talking about the game:
"It has been a shorter build-up to the game because we only played on Tuesday night and Wednesday was spent making sure the players rested and recovered from the Rotherham game. What we've seen from the players today and I'm sure what we'll see tomorrow is an excitement and a strong appetite for the game which will only increase once we get to the stadium."
This game could well be billed as the willy Master against the young apprentice, and to be fair Rooney is doing a lot better in his first role in football management than his own fans expected.
With so many games in such a sort period of time, the performance and result becomes something of a lottery, but the absence of the home crowd of baa'ing supporters will give the Mighty Reds an advantage that they need to capitalise on.
I think Ryan Yates will start in midfield alongside the rested James Garner and Hughton's favourite striker Glen Murray will play up front.
If we can continue to create chances we stand a good chance of winning the game!

Well I thought a draw was fair. I don’t think either set of fans have too much to brag about on that display but both managers have inherited messes of different sorts and have fashioned functional teams that get the job done more times than not. Knockaert was the standout player for me, not that there was much competition.

Hughton was right in his post-match interview - Forest don't create enough good chances from their attacks. They did enough to win this game but don't have the clear-cut chances to show for it.
I'm hoping it all comes together soon and we start scoring more goals.

vidal - fair enough, but overall, your team rescued a point, and we’re 2nd best for the majority of the game - and I think deep down, your lot o ow that’s the truth - the proof being the lack of your lot on our board which speak volumes

More so because Willy Bear will ban you if you as much as on this board than what happened in the game Rev.
I think plenty have already acknowledged that we got a lucky point especially with our performance.

Like a lot of recent encounters it will be quickly forgotten. We could do with a few punch-ups and diabolical refereeing decisions. There is almost nothing to talk about. Our goalie let a weak shot slip under him. Our centre-forward pinged in a good shot that fell nicely for him. Nothing else happened.

Igor - as I said earlier - gotta be happy with a point for both sides - well both be doing all over again next season

Derby should have 4 points over the 2 games. No more...No less.
