I honestly think he is our best CB. Reads the game like Mertesacker but also has pace and decent passing. Him and Luiz as a UNIT is the best we have there.

Arteta doesn't seem that bothered about having a settled back 4. He seems more than happy to rotate as much in defence as attack.

He’s actually really good. Wonder how two left footed players can play together at the back

Agree re Mari, has been impressive whenever he’s played. No idea what he was doing for Leicester’s goal though

I agree and have been at pains to point this out. Luiz and Mari are our best CB partnership for now.

Holding and Mari for me, Luiz is too prone to switching off at crucial moments. But in terms of helping us progress the ball forwards, Luiz is better and Mari seems very comfortable on the ball. Good signs for us having a proper defence for the future.

Pablo Mari is in my our opinion our best central defender, when he is fully fit he must play.
Vardy got no change out of him today. 😎

No coincidence that when he was in our team we had our best run alongside holding.
