Most of our defeats have been deserved

We didn’t even play well today. Should have won but we were still garbage

I guess I meant as in games where we as fans could hold our hands up and say there was nothing more we could do. I can't remember us throwing the kitchen sink at a team and still losing. Or a goalie having a blinder against us.

it’s because teams don’t have to play well against us to get points. We can’t score enough, or maintain pressure for long periods, while at the same time are still prone to brain farts and gift games to opposition. A lot of the time teams just need one goal to beat us or get a point

That is a pretty sad reality. Very true

How many teams have we really outplayed though?

In the past 2 months I really can't think of many goals which have been scored against us which we can say ah well.

Wolves - 1st goal a wtf moment
Villa away - Cedric and CB error
City Home - Holding/Bellerin error
Leicester away - Mari/Elneny error
Burnley - Leno/Xhaka error
Benfica - Ceballos errors.

Conceding these types of goals are literally killing us means we start games a goal down.

Any teams that gift goals dont deserve to win.

8 points from last 7 games sums up how we're currently performing. Individual mistakes and missed chances are happening far too often.

Deservedly is open to interpretation. If a little team rocks up and parks the bus for 90 mins with or without heroic defending, then gets a goal and the win from a last min set piece. Then we were deservedly beaten, as in a top team in football deserves to get beaten if they can't comprehensively put away a weak one.

We've been deservedly beaten plenty of times this season by that reckoning

Arsenal had lower expected goals in 13 league games this season and 1 other the same. Arsenal are lucky you got a great goalkeeper in goal otherwise you would have lost many more games.
