I know very little about, but I suspect they are pretty decent, given they finished top of their group and unbeaten against some reasonably good sides. With that in mind, I would hope Jose would go full strength tonight, take no chances. Take one match at a time, the Arsenal game can wait.
Doubtful the tie will be put to bed tonight, whatever team is put out, but still need to give themselves the best chance, so I doubt Jose will want to take to many risks. I have even seen some supporters think if Spurs win easily tonight, then they can leave all the main players at home for the second leg. That simply will not happen This is now starting to get a serious competition, and must be taken as such.
Hopefully get the result, but being a two legged tie, you always have the insurance of the second game, if things don`t quite go to plan. But here`s hoping for at least a two goal lead to take to the second leg.

Tonight`s match is against an opponent

Win, lose or draw.... I’ll cope fine.... I have no expectations for Spurs anymore. I’ll be happy as long as I don’t have to watch Sissoko embarrassing himself and us against technically sound opponent’s
I know a few of us have got a bit carried away in the past few weeks but we have beaten Wolfsberger, Burnley, Fullham (just) and Palace. Tonight and Sunday are high pressure games that actually matter & we all know Spurs tend to fack it up in a big game
Cautiously optimistic
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really true though is it. Haven`t Spurs beaten United, Arsenal and Man City in the Prem this season. And Chelsea in the Carabou.
I think sometimes our fans get the wrong idea that Spurs never beat any team other than cannon fodder.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True but you have to put everything into context. Our league form has been a mess. We beat United (who had 10 men) & Arsenal (who were falling apart, dont regard them as a big team anyway). Granted City was a good win, Chelsea in the LC was a shocking performance and lets not forget we ballsed up our chances to really kick on when were near the top and make a meaningful impact on the top of the league..... Leicester, Liverpool spring to mind as well as all the points blown from leading positions. .... Point being, Spurs dont deserve much of the optimism that many fans lavish on them...... They always break your heart
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless Spurs fans haven't been paying attention to the last month, there's definitely more reason for us to be optimistic than there was before that. Jose has made some changes which have had a more positive outcome. Whether you rate Palace, Fulham and Burnley that highly, we've still won 3 games in a row and been far more attacking than we were, with Bale coming in and making a difference.
It's fair to be cautiously optimistic with tougher fixtures coming up, but I don't think we have reason to be afraid we're going to fall back into that 5 losses in 6 form.

Very true Sandy. And let's not forget that Fulham beat Liverpool at Anfield and Burnley held Arsenal to a draw. Unless you're a rampant Man City, there are no easy games and we really ought to start realising that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely. There are no easy games in the Prem. United only drew with Palace a week or so ago as well.

Not saying it is all rosy, but nowhere near as bad as lots of out fans make out. All teams suffer bouts of poor form during the season. Spurs are no different to any other team.

Me neither mate..... I was really happy with the 3 wins, I dont believe anything is out of our reach at this point (other than actually winning the league). Spurs are defo playing better, we stand a chance of the top 4 and winning the EL.... all I’m saying is that I wouldn’t be stunned if we went out over 2 legs and lost on Sunday.....It’s just that kinda season and Spurs more than most others are one of those weird kind of teams

Fair enough, and I would not be surprised either, it's cup football, and anything could happen Spurs came close to going out before the competition proper even started.

Easily should be able to rotate for this game, we’ve got 2 chances against Dinamo but only 1 against Arsenal.
