See, we can go toe to toe with the division's anti-football bully boys. I do hope we get a stronger ref for Millwall. Yes, Wednesday was a poor spectacle but it halted the slight non-winning hiccup in our season. And if Lee Gregory had been a little more decisive then it would have been a well deserved win.
C'est La Vie as they say on holiday in France and Greece which brings us to the game v Derby's ex players/loanees. Actually the loanees can't play but Owd Mason will be leading their line and definitely - still - has a point to prove. I still find it slightly ironic(?) that of the three car miscreants, TL is not playing, Keogh has been dropped and only Mason Bennett is playing.
Probably the same team will start on Saturday - I think Fozzie has done enough to keep his place, not sure if Marshall us available yet.
Team news:-
Roos, Forsyth, Shinnie, Edmundson, Jozwiak, Waghorn, Byrne, Kazim-Richards ©, Mengi, Clarke, Knight.
Subs:- Marshall, Wisdom, Bird, Sibley, Roberts, Buchanan, Baningime, McDonald, Watson.
Derby County 0 - 1 Millwall

It was going in Fin.
We've lost over 47% of games this season, how crap is that?

Not as crap as losing over 48% 💁♂️

We're working on it in training this week.

As the saying goes, you are only as good as your strikers. Everyone knew we were lacking in this area but nothing has been done.

Morning after view:
Well even now 12 hours later this latest defeat still 'smarts'. What a horrendous season we've endured. With the absence of fans there's no real advantage with home or away games. They're all the same.So no point rubbing our hands and thinking we've got x amount of home games coming up.
Anyway, yesterday. Dissecting it - as I remember Milwall had one chance and scored from it. Both our chances fell to Fozzie who didn't score either. That's it. The story of the game. Millwall defended well enough and packed their penalty area. We put in plenty of crosses but they were all blocked.
It's hard to take any positives out of this game. For me if Ckr doesn't score then we just become Derby County Nil. I dont know what happened to Waghorn's 10+ goals per season, ok Lawrence has been injured - but again another 10+ goals per season guy. Nothing from Midfield nor the Defenders. Fact is you're always going to concede the odd goal as we did today.
I just don't know what the answer is and it seems neither do the management team.
Another bad day at the office....

TH, the answer is a wholesale change of personnel over the summer IF a takeover happens.
Several regulars are coming to the end of their contracts, talks aren't ongoing to extend so you have to assume they will be replaced. 6 are loan players including Clarke who is crucial for me.
We have a hard working squad but lack any real flair. Lawrence provides some when fit, Sibley might do, Joz needs to but aside from them 🤔

Yeah you're right Peeder. We have many players who's contracts are at an end in the summer....and as you said 6 players on loan...a bit frightening really
