Did you guys notice another Leno's "play from the back" moment of madness tonight? He passed the ball to Elneny just a few feets away from six yards.
Moh had 2 Olympiacos players around him and one of them almost caught him but thanks to his quick thinking and awareness, he released the ball and we got away with it.
Leno again....

At this point, can we really blame a player for blindly following official company policy?
Arteta clearly demands a certain system of play.
It wouldn't come as a surprise to see our other keepers doing the same if given the chance.
Probably explains why Arteta favoured Leno over Emi, who seemed to defy the system by launching practically every ball halfway up the pitch.

Leno is a walking disaster. I would DROP him now and forever. Brainless and unreliable.

Yep I can blame him. Given he's not going to be dropped regardless what he does, he should play the way he plays best and clear his lines whenever he feels the need. HIS call at the end of the day since he's the one playing and he knows what he can and can't do. And at the end of the day, he's the one who's looking bad (so devaluing) every time he fecks it up.
The whole thing with Leno has gone beyond a joke now, just highlights a fundamental flaw in the Arteta. He clearly can't/won't accept that players have their limitations. Leno will never be strong playing out from the back as he doesn't even have the skillset needed. It's plain to see for anyone looking, but no Arteta's such a legend in his own mind, that he believes he can force the issue. After nearly a season of feck up after feck up. Leno makes the "pass to wrong man under too much pressure," mistake near every match he plays in. If not for a lot of luck, he could have cost us goals in double figures by now. It needs to stop and if Arteta won't listen, well then Leno and the team need to make him. A little player rebellion could be just what's needed to knock Arteta down off that pedestal he's put himself on. Would do him and the players the world of good.
