A gloomy prospect awaits us tomorrow. Gillingham have scored 12 goals in their last 5 games, three of which have been away with the most recent one at Lincoln where they won 3-0. They lurk in 9th position, 3 point behind us.
Even if Rovers were playing well this would be a tough fixture, but they aren’t, and the addition of Sims and Bogle seems unlikely to supply the additional strength to enable them to do much beyond limiting the scale of the defeat.
I’ll say 1-3 and Bogle with the goal.
4 teams could overtake us tomorrow including Gillingham with a big win, so it is probable that we will fall out of the top 6.

I'm with you Crazy and will go for a 2-1 win for the Rovers with Sims scoring the first. I'd have felt more comfortable saying this if Balcombe was in goal.

Didn't want to put 3/4 nil defeat last week, this week could be 4/5

Much better, but the 2 quick goals didn’t seem well defended with Jones looking on as usual. GKs have to be more proactive than he is.
The pace of the attacking was much improved. Good to see Sims back up to speed and Horton a real all-round asset.
Bogle was excellent again.

Very good result given the awful start.

A terrible start - but much improved after that. It seemed too many players were still asleep from the coach ride down! Anderson was surprisingly hustled off the ball for the first goal, but Gillingham were a very physical side. Should we develop a long-throw specialist?
For me, the big question is "Why did we keep Horton hidden for so long?"
Would you have taken Copps off - he was having a good game?

Copps signaled to AB he wanted to come
off.

Today is an example of this crazy season - 7 of the top eight teams drew, only Pompey managing to win, and only 4 in the top half won.

It's going to be a roller coaster ride and Blackpool have one and are on the rise. Looking like this rearranged match might be exciting. Let's hope its sees them on the downward slope.
