No I didn`t say that 3 months ago. I said last season that Spurs had a very good squad, and should certainly have been challenging for the league. That they have seriously regressed, and I have since changed my mind on the strength of the squad, might be a fairer assesment of what I said, and have been saying for most of this season.
Get it right fella. Unless you think football supporters never change their minds about anything.

Potter or Nagelsmann I don't really mind. Also, who is to say a rookie can't win stuff straight from the go? Experience is often overrated in football. Sometimes it can work for you, sometimes it doesn't (see Jose for us). Someone can be good enough to win things at any age. Ultimately, the quality in the team is going to land you the trophies and help you challenge for leagues.
If Jose goes after 18 months, and that will be assuming he fails to win in the cup and do anything in the league, it's because there will have been no improvement in that 18 months, and the expectations we had getting him on board. After 18 months with Poch we were in a title race with only expectations of challenging for top 4.

Assume the next manager only gets 18 months then as well. Whoever comes in, must win Spurs trophies within 18 months or he has to go as well. Used to be a time, when managers got minimum of three or four seasons. Now it seems, a few months is maximum.
