I want Rushden to survive for a reason that might make some of you laugh. I still own a copy of FIFA '05 for my original xbox and in that game I managed them, winning the prem, fa cup, carling cup and champions league every year for ten years. With Rushden and Diamonds I beat Man Utd thirty one to nil and a player called Andy Burgess scored twelve while Simeon Jackson scored fourteen times!!! (it was on easy and ten minute halves but boy it was fun) in my first season in charge (round 4 of the FA Cup)
On a more serious note I hate it when any smaller club is on the brink of doom or actually dies like Chester City did.
So if there are any Rushden fans out there then you have my best wishes and I hope your club makes it. All the best
