how the HELL are those in the top 5 of hard men?

At least 2 of them don't even rate.

you have to say the duncan ferguson and roy keane and vinny jones would make mince meat of vidic and stam all day every day.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh? Stam was hard as nails.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I'm not sure Stam is the right one to question on that list

stam. pah.

just cos he looked big and nasty doesn't mean much.

who's nuts did he squeeze or what kind of fights did he get into, what career did he end?

BTW as for pundits even mentioning veiria? not a chance.

theres actually quite a few right nasty sorts inthe prem right now that in former times might have been classed as hard as they could get away with a lot more.

theres a couple at west ham for sure, theres a few yard dogs at everton and all

Maybe someone should do a "sneaky coward" version of this were players like son (cry baby who uses his studs a lot and is actually a really nasty sort)

Viera is probably in there due to his rivalry with Roy Keane.

Think they’re quite good mates now!

Graham Roberts. Still a passionate Spurs man, who was as hard as they came.

Am sure I remember him on the pitch at half time during the Spurs / City 1981 Cup Final.looking for his front teeth, that Chris Houghton had accidentally kicked out in the first half.

Did he cry off injured for the second half ? yeah right.

Still defends Spurs passionately in the media all these years later. Top man.
