I hope tonight puts paid to any further matches with Fab or Hendo in defence. Play the kids in defence if needs be but play the midfielders in midfield. I thought both Fab and Thiago dominated the midfield and the press and allowed the front three to work.
On another note, how lucky we got Jota - if only he was fit in Jan/Feb - I reckon we would be a lot closer to City.

I could not believe how easy aubameyang made it for Phillips.
Kabak and phillip have played 4 won 4 clean sheets for themselves.
Nobody is moving either one now till vvd is back.

Thought Trent proved a few of his detractors how good he is as an attacking full back. He should definitely have had another assist for Mane near the end.

Fab was diff gravy. Huge difference to the team. Breaking up play so quickly, starting attacks, covering full backs. Him and hendo had been huge loss in mid

Did seem strange that he stuck with the CMs in midfield for so long when it wasnt working.
I'd rather have inexperienced but natural CBs playing supported by a world class midfield over CMs playing CB being supported by a poor midfield.
Klopp been great for you but the stubborness on this is weird

I think this is a developing myth. Generally, Klopp didn't have the options to play much differently than he did. This is hindsight and revision IMO.

Seconded. If we did this pre kabak then forget it. First opportunity klopp had to do this formation he did.
