Wolves are winless in five Premier League games (D2 L3),
MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Wolves have won eight of the 11 most recent league encounters, with their solitary defeat during that period coming at Craven Cottage in the Championship three years ago.
There has not been an away victory in any of the 11 Premier League meetings.
Fulham's last top-flight home defeat in this fixture was in August 1967.
Fulham

Fulham could suffer four straight Premier League defeats for the first time since losing their opening four games of the season.
They have the worst home record in the division this season, earning just 10 points from 16 matches.
Their two top-flight victories at Craven Cottage have come against the only two teams currently below them in the table: West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United.
An 11th home defeat of the season this Friday would equal the club's record for a top-flight campaign, set in 1967-68 and matched in 2013-14.
Scott Parker's side have 26 points, the same as their final tally for their most recent Premier League season in 2018-19.
The Cottagers have scored with 24 of their 362 attempts on goal in the Premier League this season, giving them the division's lowest conversion rate of 6.6%.
Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves could lose three successive league games for only the second time under Nuno Espirito Santo, having done so between October and November 2018 in the Premier League.
They have scored the opening goal in only one of their past 20 Premier League matches, and that was an own goal by Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
Santo's side failed to score a first-half goal in nine of their 10 most recent away league games. The exception was during a 3-3 draw at Brighton on 2 January.
Their only victory in those 10 Premier League away fixtures came at Southampton on 14 February.
They are the only team still unbeaten in the Premier League this season after scoring the opening goal (W6, D1).

absolutely agree with everything in djs post, i would only differ by emphasising more the loss of jota and the lessening effectiveness of mouttinho.

3 years ago today Ruben Neves scored for Wolves against Derby at Molineux. Possibly the best goal I’ve ever seen live
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From my seat in the north bank I was right behind it, the way it dipped in to the top corner was incredible, certainly the best individual finish I've seen from a wolves player.

great shame that neves seems to have lost his mojjo for long range shooting

I’m a big fan of Neves and think he is such an important member of the team. But his long range shooting has certainly gone to pot this season

U23s 1-0 up at half time with Austin Samuels the goalscorer. They’ve moved away from their usual 343 line up today to play 4 at the back and they seem to have the players to be comfortable with that. Marques who usually plays the Coady role going to left centre back with Lonwijk on the right. Hesketh looking really good young midfielder and Corbeanu playing down the channels. switching between right and left and showing he is very two footed with the ability to cut in from either flank. Christian Atsu in the Newcastle team

U23s ended up winning 4-0 which takes them up to 3rd in the table and the chance of the play offs to decide promotion to the top tier of U23s football

Two goals for Austin Samuels and one each for Corbeanu and Hesketh

The final negative has been moving away from three at the back which has made us one of the most effective defensive set ups in the league. Moving to 4 at the back has clearly added to being weaker as an attacking team without Raul, to being much weaker defensively as well. We don’t have the goalscorers to make an extra attacker worthwhile and we have conceded twice as many goals per game with 4 at the back than we have with 3. It was a change we just don’t currently have the players to make work.

_-----------------

Agree with most of what was said but no doubt at all we have looked good attacking wise when playing a back four even without Raul. I do agree that it seemed a strange time to start trying a back four given our summer dealings all seemed to be in line with a back three set up though.

It's official:

Neto out for up to 7 months and Jonny about one year.

Time for our Chinese owners to stump up some real cash in the summer? Either that or sell to someone with some real ambition.
