After spending 15 years at Arsenal, Arsene has consistently made us competitive with 14 top four places and in spite of limitations in spending and wage bills. However, it appears that a lot of people are now underestimating Arsene's ability. Whilst I can understand fans of other clubs who covet a top four place criticising Arsene, I don't get it when some of our fans appear to follow suit.
Many forget that Arsene has the necessary experience of turning good players into great players while at the same time he has managed to improve the club's standing. So then, considering Arsene Wenger's vast experience and obvious track record what exactly makes us believe that he is not able to turn our current situation around, improve the players and ensure a top four position afterall that is the bearest minimum he has always delivered?
Is Arsene Wenger Underrated?

If there is just one word to describe a lot of our fans today it would be 'spoilt'.
Arsenal have been the envy of every club outside of the top four in the EPL and clubs in similar positions in leagues throughout Europe.
What other team can show as much success and consistency in 15 years with the resources Arsenal have?
Who have we to thank for this.....Arsene Wenger

Didn't Wenger get awarded Manager of the Decade?

I think if wenger was at a club that gave him more money, he would build an amazing team. Would be up their with barca. Yes thats right i do not agree that it is wenger that refuses to spend. Its our tight fisted board! Weger knows the limitations of our team, but his hands are tied by finance, so he looks for other solutions. People seem to go around thinking wenger wants us not to win trophies. Im sure if he had the choice he would spend to win trophies. He's a football manager, he loves winning!

@Frim Fighters: how often needs the board to confirm that Wenger has enough resources to spend? Just today Kroenke confirmed that all decisions made during the summer transfer window were Wenger' s decisions. The tale that Wengers hands are tied by finance is simply just a tale...
I remember Wenger had the choice to take over Real a couple of seasons ago. If he would have done this, I believe he would have been sacked after the first season for not winning a trophy...
Do not get me wrong, Wenger has done amazing things for our club in the past. But that was in the past and I am not quite sure how long that should count for, 10 years, 50 years? I have the feeling that we are in danger that Wenger becomes bigger than the club.
