...connection, to set the tone/motion and kick-start the battering of Palace.
Developed into one of the best, most genuine attacking threat partnerships very quickly this season, Kai is demonstrably more dangerous in and around the box whenever their on the pitch together...always on the same wavelength (a la Cal - Mount link-up). Partnership are (in)valuable.
Tore Palace a new one from beginning to end, which hasn’t always been the case in recent times at Selhurst Park where the match is close-run.
Testament to their footballing intelligence.

Cals' presence and subtle productive movements is integral to unlocking low-block compact sides, invariably makes the correct decisions on & off the ball in attacking third fast.
Willingess to shoot with unfavoured left-foot cutting in from right, even if he misses should never be discouraged.
Very complete performance from a very complete player, down to his final contribution which was a marvellous swtch of play to Kova in space on the left. Elite.
Callum Hudson-Odoi created the most (key passes) in the match from open play. Am I surprised? No. Creative machine...that is a menace on the right, menace on the left, menace in the middle. The total package.
Variety and unpredictably is what sets him apart from the rest...a problem for any opposition.
There’s got to be a way to fit both Reece & Cal in the starting lineup. Shouldn’t be one or other.
In fact speaking of combinations, there's been a few emerged at this level...
Tammy - Cal combination
Mount – Cal
Reece – Cal
Ziyech – Cal
Kai - Cal
Etc
See the common dominator is our obscenely adept, greatest young talent Callum Hudson-Odoi. Second to none at forging fruitful relationships and understand on the pitch. Footballing. IQ. Is. Off. The. Charts.
Cal returns to the line-up incisive passing and slick synergy patterns returns. A calming influence.

All the better when Tammy is reintroduced into the side.

Nothing beats old' faithful Kai - Cal...

The ideal would be to start the match strongly (failed to do that in the first leg) and score a couple more goals then sub Werner in around the hour mark or so, when the match will be stretched.
If Tuchel has the intention of retaining possession and fluidity...there's no justification in starting Werner with his limitations in such a match.
Making Werner work for his starting spot will be rewarding in the end.

It's not about starting the best eleven. At 2-0 up Tuchel may think about saving legs for the FA semi final. Werner may well start to save an injury prone Pulisic.

2 goal lead is not a particularly comfortable margin.
They score one and are right back in the tie, get the game won first with an unassailable lead (I believe 3 goal margin will suffice) then rest players accordingly.

cmf i think you keep deleting my comment by accident.
I said hudson odoi was poor at the weekend most thought
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought he was a bit patchy but I am not keen on James' lack of risk taking in the final third recently.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i think hes been improved last couple games, didn't he set up our third?
but yeah he was frustrating me in terms of taking any sort of sting out of our attacks

Possibly Sheriff. I think Pulisic is our best choice but as I stated I worry that 3 games a week is too much for him with his injury record right now. Rather he started v City
