Here we are on the verge of a major European trophy, after what is shaping up to be one of our best seasons in probably a decade. To advance to the final we must beat Roma and I understand fans have the right to be pessimistic as we’ve been unlucky with Ole in semis before, but this time it feels different. There is a winning mentality now. The players are in top form unlike previous occasions.
Cavani looks reborn, Pogba continues to inspire and Bruno is unstoppable. Oh and not to mention our defence looks watertight at the minute either! There is rightfully an air of excitement at Old Trafford and even the haters know it. Our mentality has come on leaps and bounds these last 3 months and we are always finding new ways to win, which people want to ignore. Roma await but I know we will beat them over two legs and hopefully win this European trophy.
What a season we are having and it makes me so smug to know that all the doubters are proven wrong about our manager every single week.
That is all.
This Semi Feels Different?

Expressed this before, but this poster does remind me of my experiences of primary schoolyard 'footie banter' with what, were then, my chosen 'peers'.......

Big clubs left in the Europe League at the semi-final stage: Manchester United, Roma, Arsenal (3/4)
Pretty obvious which one is now bigger?

Surely Villarreal are bigger than Chelsea? They have been around since the late 80s, not just the early 2000s like Chelsea.

Is that based on Roma winning the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 60 years ago?
