I think we will all be glad when this season finally draws to a close, Derby certainly will, as they're due to lose again tonight!
I just had trouble finding Udders in the table, until I realised that they're below us in the table. Still above Derby though, but enjoying recently possibly a worse run of form than the sheep.
April has been a slam dunk month for the Terriers, managing draws against Rotherham & Brentford, getting hammered by the mighty Canaries and merely losing against the Cherries.
However before the Norwich game they had enjoyed a five match unbeaten run and I expect that they will be looking to re-establish that sort of form against us. Will they come to defend and try to catch Forest on the counter?
The good news for Forest is that McKenna looks to have overcome his injury problems, to establish a solid centre half partnership with Joe Worrall.
This explains our unbeaten run since losing by 2 to Norwich on 17th March.
I'm predicting another win by the odd goal and also a clean sheet.

It’s difficult to defend CH when after 42 games, own goals is joint top scorer with FOUR. Not much more to say.

Yep I agree - that stat is totally laughable....seriously could any other team have such a woeful statistic?
Grabben needs shipping out or retiring - certainly don’t want him here next season - he has become a total liability - massive job for CH in the summer - first thing will be to get a decent striker or two - even I’d we buy no one else a competent strike-force is what is so badly needed

We need to clear out the deadwood too - the lot of them, which is about 60% of this entire squad including the likes of Carvalho - them lot of em need getting rid of

I expected more from CH,but that is also true of Nigel Pearson at Brizzie, I’m beginning to wonder if CH, NP are in the MON bracket, passed their sell by date. I was delighted when CH was appointed, but after 38 games we really aren’t any better off, whilst I appreciate these aren’t the players CH would have liked ideally, he really should have been able to get more out of this motley crew than he has. Our problem is we may need to cash in on assets to re-build and the only player of any realistic value is Joe Worrall, lose him and we lose the heart of the ethos of the team. I personally think we are in a real dilemma, twist or bust.

Hugely disappointing game from the hugely disappointing CH. He was talking about sending Soh out on loan in the Post. I guess were keeping Figs as back-up then.
No passion or pride and poor tactically. Waiting until 2-0 down to go for it at home? Shocking.
I usually look forward to these midnight games, but my next one is the 9:30pm end of season closer. I’ll be streaming that one, i’m not paying for this.

The transfer window is going to important as always especially for the manager. I'm sure that having spent a lifetime in the game he knows as well as we do, if not better, what we need.
We obviously have a lot of deadwood which needs to be shipped out. I don't think we need to bring many in though. We are OK for defensive players. But we do need some attacking players with pace, energy and ambition.
I'd also like to see some honesty regarding transfers. If there are players brought in who the manager hasn't asked for he should say so. Not to name names but just to say how many players were his choice how many were not. Admit when he has misjudged and brought in a player who turns out to be not good enough.
We should be prepared to splash out but only on a few (3 or 4 max) players. Quality not quantity

Knockeart has hopefully played his last game for the reds.
I hope the next transfer window isn't conducted by some one [Ventzros?] who has just stepped off some football manager game.....

We need at east a winger, CM, AM and striker.
That would imply that Gabriel starts at RB (with no back-up) and Johnson comes in as well.
I’d expect 3-4 loans on top of that. A RB, winger, striker and someone in the middle.
I’m not looking forward to CHs brand of football for another season.

I'm hoping Christie and Krov will be with us next season. We will have Ribs or Blackett at left back so the back five should be OK. Gabriel, Soh, Figs as cover
Cafu and Yates will be the DM pair. Colback cover.
As it stands AM will be Lolley Krov (maybe) Ameobi. Mighten Carvalho and Johnson as cover
Striker Taylor/Grabban
Priority signings should be a pacey winger (Dembele) and a striker (ideally two if we can ship out Grabbs) (Yates, Jephcott, Clarke-Harris). Hopefully CH has another ace up his sleeve like Garner he can bring in.
