I am completely out of love with this club. It's disgraceful how pathetic we've been in our chase for "glory" and in the process totally losing our identity. Absolutely embarrassing.
Whilst i could never rule out watching us again. I will 100% not be contributing a single penny in tickets, membership, merchandise or TV subscriptions with the purpose of watching Spurs.
The worst thing about this is despite £350M for being in the ESL, Daniel Levy will still haggle over £500K with a League One club. The Premier League and FA simply MUST adopt the 50+1 rule set in the Bundesliga. Greed and private ownership has gone too far.
We have lost our identity and what we supposedly stand for. This club is a total shambles. I cannot support it.
Spurs are finished

OP
Spurs are anything from finished. This is the lifeline the supporters have been screaming out for for years. Investment in the club, mega money coming into the club. No more selling the best players, wouldn`t have to. No more worrying about having to qualify for the CL anymore. The stadium paid off in double quick time.
I thought that was what supporters wanted.

I agree Sizzle. It's all about who blinks first now.

It will be the Prem and UEFA. The big clubs rule the roost, take them out of the equation and absolutely nothing left to sell. The big clubs will absolutely win this fight. They wouldn`t have announced it if they thought they were going to lose. The hold all the cards.
Like anybody is going to watch International football if none of the big players are playing. International football is boring enough as it is, without watching a WC with U23s playing.
Whose going to watch Prem football if all that is on offer is Crystal Palace v Burnley, or Fulham v Brighton?
Sad really, but football long ago sold itself out. So it is what it is now.

Each to their own if you want to support this initiative.
You've been fooled if you believe money has been a severe problem at the club. Net spend being lower than 18 other clubs when we have the 2nd most expensive season tickets and one of the highest revenue generating clubs in the world is purely down the Lewis/ Levy interest to make as much money out of this as possible.
I can see why Levy would do it but the wider implication on football and our ethos is greater than seeing Spurs get extra money.

I am not particularly supporting it, but it was inevitable. You would have to be extremely naive to think this was never going to happen. Levy didn`t build this mega expensive stadium, so that Spurs would not be part of the bigger picture going forward, and just allow the Russians, American and Arab owners to keep pumping money in, whilst Spurs drop further and further behind. Of course he would jump at being part of it. And who would blame him. It was as inevitable as anything in life could ever be.
It is what it is. As I said I long ago gave up on the football side, I love the day out at football though.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this just an alternative to the champions league. So you'd still get Man Utd v Totteham on the weekend or Burnley vs Man City but then on weekdays, you'd get the super league games which they would negotiate their own tv rights for etc. That's what they want. Control of the champions league. Everything else would stay the same no?

I think that's the plan from the Super League execs, but even if that was to happen, all these teams in the SL, all they'd have to vie for in the league is a possible title race. Plus they would get so much richer that it wouldn't give the other clubs a chance, at a time when it was starting to look like they were getting a chance - Leicester, West Ham this season.

I will be certainly cancelling all my sports TV and subscriptions, I won`t be buying any tickets or merchandise either. I may take a casual interest in the games via some free dodgy stream or other, but that will be it.
Levy, Lewis and ENIC can get facked whatever happens.
