I do wonder sometimes if it’s a wum or if he generally does have that poor a grasp of comprehension that he just makes up the point others are trying to make.

I think over time he has shown that he is genuinely stupid - not quite understanding where he was born - the killer punch etc - he's like that kid a school who would trot out unconnected words of praise to bullies in the hope that he wouldn't be found out for the weak and total no mark that he is.
