Fair play to Jose, he took a stand

at the end, and gallantly fell on his sword. I wish him well, and I will fully back the new manager whoever is appointed. I am sure he will be well pleased to leave this bunch of bottling failures, and move onto a more successful venture.

It was not all bad under Jose in his 18 months, he masterminded a couple of wins over Man City in the same calendar year, beat Arsenal a couple of times, gave Spurs their biggest win over Man United for 60 years, knocked out Chelsea in the league cup, and reached a domestic final. But at the end of the day football is a results business, and probably the results were not good enough for where the club wants to go.

At least the new manager will get a clean slate, and lots of money, with Spurs being in the new super league, he will be able to out all the players, whose careers at Spurs have been littered in failure. No more blaming Jose now, the players will have to stand up and be counted, starting with the final this weekend. Up to the players now to go out and win the final for Jose.

Harry Kane tweeted
Thank you for everything Boss. A pleasure to have worked together. I wish you all the best for your next chapter.

A fresh start with a new project. I like the sound of that.

bollox did he take a stand. he is all about brand jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That`s not really true Chronic. He was never given a chance by the toxic Spurs fans from the day he arrived. Very poor from out fanbase. Especially as some even want Spurs to lose in the up and coming final.

Must have been that toxic letter Phenom wrote Levy a few weeks ago

Only Spurs would sack a manager with a track record for silverware a week before a final....

yeah obviously you are going to lose, because it's your MO....but still....absolute rookie move

Mourinho was a disaster from start to finish, spurs will take years to recover from the mess he leaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL. Are you behind with the news. Spurs have already recovered with a bit to spare, having been elected to the new super league which will give them an endless supply of readies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You like this super league proposal then sandy.

I thought a supposed old timer like yourself would be appalled. You probably would be if your club wasn't involved.

As for Jose.

The tumour has been removed. From the moment he signed it was just a matter of when. He's a dinosaur.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am an old timer, and I often get told off by supporters for living in the past, and I need to get up to speed with the 21st century. Well the 21st century is all about money, so what is the point of not being as greedy as the next club. I am a complete realist that realises the football I used to enjoy has long gone. My motto now is if you cannot beat them join them. The financially doped clubs are not going away, so time to join them now. All this faux outrage from supporters that if a sugar daddy with billions took them over, they would be over the moon with joy.

Oh and comparing a football manager to a tumour is absolutely out of order. Show some respect fella for those that do have life threatening tumours. Disgusting remark.

Now I know Sandy's just winding us up. It was performances. Pure and simple.

Having said that, I do think something else has gone on as from what I can gather, Jose is now entitled to the full severance package. either we've had the ESL money confirmed or Levy has found a way of sacking him without paying him off. The timing is just totally bizarre. Makes no sense at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Money is no object to Spurs now, they will be given endless riches from joining the newly to be formed super league. The stadium will be paid off in record time now. All excellent news.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's see if you still think it's 'excellent news' when you're constantly finishing bottom of this new whatever-it-is-league and are the league's constant whipping boys - except you can't get relegated and escape it.

Sounds like a recurring nightmare to me.

Also add the fact that you will be hated by the rest of the English teams still playing proper football. I wouldn't be calling it 'excellent news' just yet Sandy.

Not really sure why one league cup in 20 years qualifies anyone as being one of Europe's elites either - unless you're just being invited to get results in double figures every week for the big boys and have footy results like basketball scores.

Dear oh dear oh dear.

Where were Jose’s morals when he took over abromivic’s Chelsea?

You’re nothing but a WUM Sandy

Surprised so many people were not wearing masks and not socially distancing. I reckon Mourinho will probably go to italy and Juventus next.
