Well, when the Champions League was created it stopped us from ever winning the European Cup again. We will forever be stuck on 1.

At least when the Premier League was formed and we were no longer Football League members, we could have actually added to the 7 Football League titles we had already won. Admittedly we would have to have got relegated in order to do so, but still...

Also, did you see these crazy plans for a European Super League? Unlikely to happen though.

Anyway, back to our chances of winning the CL again. Who do you think we need to sign?

Based on the current table, and considering that the big 6 will not partake in the CL, this would mean that

Leicester
West Ham
Everton
Leeds

Will play in the Champions League.

Aston Villa
Wolves
Crystal Palace

Will play in the Europa League

Apparently it's better for the club to be bottom of this super league, getting shown up by Barca and co every week.
