What has kinda hit me today is the reality that, as it stands, 12 historically big clubs have been able to treat our beloved clubs as poker chips, in the pursuit of a bigger pot of $$$ Sickening really.
Germany has a rule in place to stop this exact type of thing happening and I genuinely think I can see this coming into place at some time in the future if this whole saga gets messy.
I know the German set up was discussed but we went for a system that simply checks the buyers funds and background....seems that's worked out well.
Do you think it'd be possible to shift to this system now or are there too many legal obstacles? I can genuinely see some owners lifes becoming increasingly difficult in the future. May be a way to save face once this whole situation is over, as well as give them.an exit strategy?
German 51% ownership rule :(

And they’ve massively benefitted by watching Bayern win the league every year for the last decade whilst hoovering up y decent players the other clubs have. Whereas if a billionaire had taken over Hamburg for instance then the Bundesliga might be a little more interesting

Maybe to late for that.

Spain may be listed as fans, but they vote in a president who then does what he wants.

As barca and real nominate a president would he have to approach them before making such a big decision?
Assuming not as this would've leaked far sooner but seems their fans have gone mental about it 😅
I think Perez will be hiring extra security!
