As the fat lady starts gargling, spitting into the receptacle and coughing discreetly (Covid you see), Derby look into the trapdoor with a sense of resignation at a situation which may yet still be resolved.....one way or the other......to a positive or negative conclusion. There, covered all bases.
I don't need to say, but this match against Preston is very important. The fact that we are looking at and are very conscious of Rotherham's results speaks volumes about what I don't know. But it's not good.
Mendi is heading back to his club, out for the season but Waghorn should be available.

have to say fair play to the Forest fans on these boards (from what I've seen anyway)

TBH I don't think any of us really want to see you relegated, we would miss the banter and the derby matches. We know from experience League 1 isn't a good place, you are other teams cup finals and they raise their game on the day. Personally I think you will be fine but it is fun watching you all squirm.🤣

Have to agree with that, I did feel the league was lacking it's usual enjoyment without Forest, the rivalry, bragging rights and of course Forest fans believing in promotion by Nov
Enjoy away, we'd do exactly the same thing too if the show was on the other foot.
