Thoughts from tonight

An hour of very strong words from Carragher and Neville and also interesting insight from Steve Parrish.

Jurgen Klopp being consistent but clearly upset re the shirts and to be honest, I think that's a cheap shot from Leeds that actually can backfire and inspire opponents.

Onto the game, different to the 4-3, but defensive frailties re-appeared, don't think it was Struijk's or Llorente's best games at the back.

Meslier to thank again for keeping us in it, but lack of proper left back cost us and I think we got a bit lucky with a few other chances, but conversely looked good going forwards, with Roberts, Harrison and Alioski seemed quite effective, but Costa a bit less so.

Dallas was everywhere, Philips looked very comfortable and Bamford, as per usual ran his socks off.

Second half we took more control, well as much control as we can take whilst looking fragile at the back.

Not the easiest chances but we were getting shots on target and Bamford had great chance which hit the bar before Llorente scored from a corner....yes, we scored from a corner!

Going for it to the end, we fully served a draw and the pitch deserves a mention for looking like a pitch.

More time spent after match on the Super League. It's clever from the clubs not to tell the players or managers, because then they can say we dont know, we can't comment....but, they do comment and its clear their sentiment is that they don't want this.

We need the players to say how they really feel, it's their futures being sold down the river.

Ultimately a good point for Leeds, hope Llorente's knee is ok (thought we might see a minute of Berardi) and also want Raphinha back soon, clearly that awful tackle from Fernandinho had a big impact.

It’s just such a shame that Lfc and City are the clubs that pushed this. Those two clubs are the shame of our entire nation.

It was Man United who pushed this.

of course it was. anyone who says different is a gullible fool.

United didn’t push it at all. Read the information. City and LFC the main culprits.

well, uefa are apparently, according to danish member jesper moller, going to kick city, chelsea and real madrid out of the champions league on friday...

which is going to make the semi-finals and final bloody boring to watch....

and they can't just give the trophy to PSG either, as by all accounts, they are still considering joining the ESL.

Don't be a diiick, Culer, the prime movers by all acounts are United and Real Madrid. City don't need all this.

I thought Leeds were very good tonight, it was a novel experience watching you and hoping you'd score. I might not even watch on Sunday, I'm a bit disillusioned with my own club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is that a comment aimed at Culer, no way is he a fan of our glorious club. His blurb says he supports the filth and Barca, two of the dirty dozen. And he has the gall to lay the blame at City and Liverpool. Hypocrite.

I'm Manchester United supporter. We know all about Culer. He's a bad k nob, don't entertain any of his shiiite.

These own Owners are trying to drive wedges between football fans. Any cracks, such as Klopp displayed tonight play right into their hands, we must be absolutely solid in our opposition, irrespective of the club we support.

As an aside, the legacy of these big clubs might make theESL interesting to some in the next few years, but a few seasons down the line it will be a load of meaningless show ponies prancing about.

Was a strange strange game. Didn't feel like a match, felt like a documentary given the ESL scandal. Good point and fair result. Listened to the hour after the game, like listening to Carra and Neville, the presenter was pretty cringe however. Onto a cracking game on Sunday in which it'll all be about the super league.

Nonsense. One of the Glaziers is going to be vice chairman of the super league, meaning he was heavily envolved.
