You clowns blamed Wenger

For the penny pinching. Some of you went as far as to say Stan wanted to spend and Wenger disallowed it.

Wenger ran the club from top to bottom

As if a billionaire focused on generating cash from investing would ever leave the key decisions in his business to an employee he sacked a few years later

Hopefully you are now seeing your naivety. There is only one person calling the shots at these clubs. I'll give you a clue. The manager employed to win games is not that person

Loving this. Our best chance of getting KSE out of our club.

They at least need to sack Vinai.

And even if they stick around, the embarrassment they have brought on themselves as being one of the main, but least deserving, instigators of it all.

An absolute laughing stock.

As for the OP...

Wenger was clearly a better manager without money than with it.

So... I dunno. If you had a point, I can't say that I care much about it tonight

"The club have consistently told us that we have money to spend, and IMO it is Wenger who has seemingly held back on big names or spending the extra penny to secure talent over our rivals. The boards downfall has been allowing this to go on for so long, naively overlooking the improvement of our rivals."

Fack me 😂

"At this point in time it could just be paper talk, but for years now we have questioned Wengers intent in the market. Some of us have pointed the blame at Kroenke, saying the board won't provide the funds required, whereas others have held firm against Arsene and his stubborness to align with modern times."

Remind me why we needed to sign Aubameyang again?

I mean, only 6 months earlier we'd spent £45m on Lacazette

Wenger did his master’s bidding, he was a brilliant attacking coach but a control freak around the club who had no interest in defence (according to his own players), which is why our defence became a farce after the defensive legacy dissipated.
By the end Wenger was completely washed up...

We lost two great young keepers in Szsz and Fabianski, because Wenger wouldn't replace his coaching staff and their outdated methods, selling both for peanuts, then spent decent money on Ospina and Cech - who were both terrible - whilst we had a keeper better than the lot of them sitting right underneath the manager's nose.

Wenger needed to go, no matter what the owner was up to.

Wenger was too concerned with financing Arsenal's real estate scheme, IMO
