As predicted the clubs u-turn and UEFA promise to look at the situation of a kind of super league in the confines of their current tournament.

None of the clubs can claim any moral high ground and the leadership at the clubs have to consider how our of touch they are with fans.

Ted, nobody wins, you still have the likes of Abrahamovich, Mansour, UEFA, the Prem still skewing football in the favour of a few.

Let's not make out the likes of UEFA and Sky are on the side of the fans, they are,as greedy as anybody else.

From UEFAs point of view, this was never about the sanctity of competition. That was just how they span it for PR. It was ALWAYS about money, and how much of the billions football generates ends up in the pockets of UEFA.

They won't care if they end up making the CL exactly the same kind of closed shop that the ESL was supposed to be. As long as it puts more money in their pockets.
