We're now nine games into the season, which was the point last season at which Paolo Sousa was sacked. Given the frustrations that many Foxes fans have at the relatively slow start to the season, I thought now would be a good time to take a look back at how far the team has come in the last twelve months. When Sousa was sacked, our record from the nine games was W1 D2 L6, with 10 goals for and 22 goals against. We were bottom of the league. This season's record is W3 D4 L2, with 9 goals for and 9 against - maybe not quite what we were hoping for, but sitting 11th at this stage is certainly not a disaster. The most telling thing however is to take a look back at the team which started Sousa's last match in charge (away at Norwich, of course) - Ikeme, Lamey, Morrison, Hobbs, Kennedy, Oakley, King, Wellens, Dyer, Waghorn & Howard. Seven of the eleven have left the club either permanently or on loan, and in my opinion you only need to compare the back five to appreciate just how far we have come under Sven. A little more luck and creativity up front and we'll be right up where we need to be. Keep the faith & UTF.

double decker i agree with you it is a lot lot better than last year i think now the team is begginning to jel as a unit and certainly with a biy more luck will climb the table,a couple of wins and the team will be up there challenging for a top two place

Yes, the comparison player-wise, is very revealing, DD. We have indeed moved up. I just now need to hear a loud CLICK, which will mark the moment when they all start playing together as well as we believe they can. Then somebody should be in for a thumping.

I don't know, I'm not sure our back line ever recovered from losing Lamey.

Maybe Lamey would have suited the Sheepys.
