If not what has happened today but something else to get rid of the Glazers, then what is it?
To me it seems like continuous peaceful protest & continuous peaceful disruption to games is the only thing that might make the parasites budge.
15 years of moaning about it & occasional green & gold scalf waving has done what? Nothing!
Honestly I can't think of any other way to get rid of them. I'm all for our games being continuously postponed if it means they sell up, I'm happy to take 12 months of it. 1 sh!!!!t season of disruption is all good with me if it forces them to sell the club (because let's be fair were used to sh!!!!t seasons at the moment anyway haha).
A season in the Championship and lose most of our squad in the process due to constant postponements? Let's do it, we'll come back. It would be crazy times but we'd be back eventually just like other big clubs do (Juventus, Rangers etc.)
I say let them carry on peacefully protesting & causing disruption before every game until something happens.
I don't want violence, I don't condone it either, I jjust see this whole situation as nothing changes until something truly drastic happens, and it can happen peacefully I hope
If not this then what else?

You would have to be in denial to think that the protests yesterday have not made an impact.

This could have serious repercussions for the club. I am a Utd fan but cannot condone this action. Liverpool should be awarded a win and the 3 points even though what happened was beyond the control of Man Utd themselves. Second in the PL and in the Europa Cup final, barring a 2nd-leg disaster, not enough?
I cannot see how this will help the protesters' as it has probably alienated millions of fans worldwide from their naive "cause".

It isn’t about results.
It’s about stealing from fans, placing the club in a perilous amount of debt, a small cabal of clubs trying to monopolise the revenue potential of the sport to the detriment (and bankruptcy) of the rest, allowing what was once the best stadium in the country to fall into complete disrepair, and besmirching the very traditions of the club.
They’re despicable parasites who don’t give half a shiiiiit about the fans or the history and heritage of the club. They must go.

Are people genuinely asking why today and not Thursday? I would have thought a Sunday afternoon, with a bank holiday following it would be a far better time than a Thursday night when everyone has school and work the next day....

People in power love peaceful protests, they’re easy to ignore.

There are many ways to protest - try ignoring 20000 fans not renewing season tickets!
Trouble is, protesters don't like doing something that might inconvenience them. Much easier to chuck a brick through a window than make any sacrifice themselves to get their point across.

I had little sympathy for this cause. But now it can feck right off.
Violence is never OK
Delaying football matches is never OK
These actions only hurt fans.
The owners are not going anywhere and nor should they. If I were the Glazers, I'd laugh and keep winding up United fans. What a bunch of entitle tools United fans can be.
As always, the vocal minority ruin things for everyone.

Go and change your tampon you big girls blouse.
Peaceful protests have achieved nothing.

I'm staggered that there are many people out there around the World who are happy to describe themselves as Man United fans or even supporters, who either don't or won't understand or even feel the outrage of the sheer betrayal and treachery of these American parasites, yet.

The trouble is that most United fans are nowhere near manchester.
The lack of connection with the club and the fans that the local fans feel is an entirely different experience to the millions across the world who get their Utd tweets and watch their games on TV. They might be annoyed with some of their appointments, transfers and results but no one is going to feel that strong a level of anger when they still see their club spending £1.2bn on players under the Glazers, outspending everyone but City, splashing way more than the likes of PSG Barca Bayern Liverpool.
It's not like you have Mike Ashely running the show, United continue to spend vast fortunes. They have set up a United based hierarchy at the club with "club men" like Ole, Carrick Phelan etc all being involved. The money men have boosted your revenues massively. £172m on 2003/4 up to £575m in 2020.

One thing this whole Glazer/ESL fiasco has highlighted is the vast disconnect between those Man United followers who are described as either 'Legacy Supporters' and those described as 'Fans Of The Future".
And never the twain

I think we’re in a battle for the very soul of the sport; and yes, those fans who live locally - those whose families turned out to support the clubs we are talking about for generations, representing the very platforms for their historical and recent successes - are now engaged in a struggle to prevent a franchise model designed to satiate the global fanbase from depriving their children of the same opportunities.
Make no mistake - that’s where these American cuuuuunts want this to go: United playing in Manchester once a month or so whilst they otherwise tour the world’s continents playing trumped up exhibition matches in the likes of Mumbai, Beijing, Sydney, Rio, Miami and Cape Town.

With a very heavy heart I have deferred renewal of my 2 x Season Tickets for 12 months. I accept that if it wasn't for Covid this option would not be available for me normally and I fully understand the risk I am taking by doing this if and when I apply to renew.
And mark my words these leaches will be back with a revised plan for their ESL quite soon. That is inevitable.
But enough is enough. For me anyway.
