Not something I use, but apparently it is hugely popular with gamers, and a big deal for Playstation and it's community.

Discord has been changing for a while and not for the better. It's moving away from nearly all features that made it a preference to gamers so expect something else to take its spot once it's rebranded itself which seems the aim.
