I fully appreciate that it is all about fairness, forward-planning etc, but it does seem ridiculous that both the Europa and Champions League Cup finals could be contested between English teams having to travel abroad 800/1600 miles to play in 25% full stadia.
With the current situation it would have made more sense if they could have just taken the team bus to Cardiff or Villa Park. Better and cheaper for the fans, better security and policing, less health-risk, less carbon footprint.
