Ole has today spoken about the fixture congestion that we have and the fact that he will need to rotate. He mentions how some people that are in the race for top 4 will not be happy. This basically means Klopp and Rodgers, as we play the two teams in the space of 3 days. Whilst Ole won't want to lose to either team, I suspect that he will likely play a weakened team against Leicester and go full strength against the scousers - obviously we'd all rather they missed out of the top 4 spot.
Looking at the remaining fixtures, I'd guess he will go strong against Villa, rest rotate against Leicester, strong against Liverpool, half rotate against Fulham, half rotate against Wolves and then obviously strong against Villarreal.
Ole's rotation dilemma

Interesting point. Ideally we'd identify combinations of players who fit the particular challenges of the respective games and give individuals rests while maintaining decent quality across each game. But we don't have a squad like City's.
If it's indeed a case of deciding which games to prioritise, much as we'd love to deliver a knock-out blow to Liverpool, surely the six-pointer vs Leicester is important?

I might revise my view of the Leicester 6-pointer in the light of tonight's game. They've fallen off a cliff, haven't they?

I want Leicester and West Ham to get top 4.

So do I. But it’s unlikely, Chelsea will get one of the spots.

Looks likely, though they have a tough last four matches, and two finals to distract them.

They’ll be too strong for all of them but City, you’d have thought.
If City beat Chelsea, a win against Villa would nearly secure second for us. It’s unlikely Leicester win their last three. And our goal difference is much better than everyone else’s.

Yeah. No excuses for running key players into the ground over the next week.

Newcastle have made Ole’s life easier now.
Obviously we’ll want to win every game and finish the season on a high. But Europa needs to be the priority now. We can coast through these last games and get second.

It's basically the opposite of the end of last season, when arguably we should have gone less all-in on the EL so we didn't Munson the start of the season.

Nice to be able to sit back and put our feet up.

Ole had a go at the fixture organisers and looking at the dates they are stupid. Man Utd have enough days to spread those fixtures so we have 1 more day rest after each game.

We have to rotate, I don’t want to see Maguire play every game.
