Another important assist last night to follow up and important goal in the week. Looking at his stats he has 27 league starts with 6 goals and 8 assists so a goal/assist every other game. Similar story in the champions league with 11 games 4 goals and 2 assists. Along with alot of hard work plus the pass before the assist which isn't recorded. If he doesn't re discover his goal scoring touch, or the ability to stay on side which is causing him to miss out on a few more goals at the minute would you still keep him in the side as an attached rather than the 20 goal a season man we thought we were getting, or would we be better served giving the starting spot to someone else?

He'd 100% be in my team. Some of the finishing has been wet and of course not being able to get back on side is frustrating but he's always a danger. I wouldn't be surprised to see him grab a few goals between now and the end of the season, and important goals they could be.

No, unless he can sort out the offside and finishing he isn't worth hanging onto long term. Next season he must sort this part of his game out, or he can feck off and let us play with a proper striker, who knows the basics.

Well as you’re looking at it over the whole season, no. A player getting a g+a every other game for an attacking forward like Werner isn’t terribly impressive.
However under TT his record is better, and I believe he’s showing a similar player to Leipzig. Still frustrating af, but at least he is now delivering high output

I'll reserve my decision till next term, but for sheer hard work and dedication to team, we will not find better. I have high hopes he'll put to shame as those negative comments... similar to the most excellent Drogba who was not great either in his earlier days.

He's the weak link, if you replace him with any top forward and you'll become one of the most deadly teams around because defensively you're solid
