I like Big Sam anyway and I'm gutted for him that after all these years it looks like he's finally going to fail to save a team, slim chance they stay up if they win all these last 4. I'd not mind losing the game to WBA to save their season at the best of times for us, unless we needed the points for CL. So since a loss today would serve to both help them and possibly get the axe brought down on Arteta, I can't I'll be that displeased if it happens. Couldn't really care less about any game Arteta's in charge of.

That's a bit harsh. Gotta think long term. We are not gonna finish in even Europa league places...so do you want to play in Europa Conference league potentially??? And if Arteta wins the last 4 games and maybe the team picks up its performances...do you really want the Kroenkes to think "hang on, they are now excellent..maybe Arteta can carry over this form into next season".

I for one want us to lose the last 4 games and be humiliated if it means Arteta and Kroenke are out. Now...if we were in the chase for CL...or even..Europa FFS...I'd want us to win every game...and then deal with the Arteta/Kroenke issue after.

the Europa conference league could actually be useful play our main team in the domestic comps then play some of the reserve /youth players in the ECL to get them valuable experience

I fear we get to the semis and Arteta plays the big guns only to lose. How embarrassing would that be?
