Does it really matter how far behind we finish as long as we secure top 4 now?

Look at Liverpool. Massive points totals the last 2 seasons but it meant nothing this season.

All start on zero come August is my point.

Ya would have to think the closer we finish to them the more belief we have that we can push them even further.

In reality we could well lose every game and get top 4 but that wouldn’t be a good season whatsoever.

Can't see us taking maximum points from the next 3 games. 3 games in 5 days is I think will be too much pressure on the squad. Our squad isn't like city's. If you look past our best 13/14 players the rest are very average.

I doubt us finishing 10 points behind instead of 20 is going to have this squad thinking they will take City's title next season.

City will have won 3 titles in 4 seasons. Look at Liverpool this season after 2 amazing seasons?

To me it is really important to get the three points today. And Ole’s line up suggests he thinks the same.

Important how? 3 points from the 15 availabale and top 4 is guaranteed.

2nd in the league is better than 4th. It just is. I know you still quality for CL which is the main thing but I hate the idea that if you don’t win the title you might as well be 4th, and if you’re not 4th you might as well be 16th.

playing strong sides in the coming weeks JUST to secure 2nd over 4th?

No I’d rotate between the 3 games like everyone else has said. What else? Rest them all in every game and go into the final rusty.

We can close this gap if we win Tuesday and Thursday. It’s not over yet, there’s more to come from us and City look like they’re falling fast.
