How do we approach LCFC & LFC?

Even of the fixtures were reversed you'd likely be resting players tomorrow anyhow surely having just played yesterday.

That's what I reckon. Putting rivalries aside, when we were playing Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday the sensible thing to do is rest players in the middle game and go as strong as possible in the others. Given how strong the team was yesterday, we'll see at least 8 or 9 changes tomorrow. Very possibly 10 or 11

Scousers will be fuming if we throw the Leicester game so let's do that. 😂

I remember Liverpool beating Blackburn to give us a chance to take the title in 1995. Much as I'd like to see them miss out on the CL next season, I'd rather it was because we beat them on Thursday than because we gave Leicester an easy game on Tuesday. I want us to finish as close to City as possible, and with as big a gap between us and Chelsea as possible. What I really want to see tomorrow is surprising strength and depth in our squad, and Diallo & Hannibal having break-out games we are still talking about in ten years.

It was an awful day from my point of view, but I had a lot of respect for how Liverpool approached it.
