Debt In the Water

Despite the unworthy source, it makes for interesting reading.

I thought Cocu left without wanting compensation, at least publicly, but imagine some arrangement would have to be made.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9580807/Potential-Derby-County-buyers-WALKING-AWAY-discovering-debts-60MILLION.html

Are we going for the record points deduction in history?

FFP Breach
Administration
Bribing Big Daz to let Sheff ship in 3
Pumping Curtis Davies full of Nandrolone
War crimes
Substitutions that bring the game into disrepute.

No sensible business person, would touch us, probably not even a greek heroin trader. Not sure what can be done with the debts. No assets either to offload.

Backhand some $$$ to Philip
Sell Moor Farm
Sign Richard Keogh
Sell TL, MW, Joz, Byrne, Marshall, Knight, Sibley, Bird, Buchanan, Shinnie.
Then pay off Rooney et all with that money.
Mel to write off half of the stadium.
Then go again with kids, points deduction a proven League One/Two manager, Mark Robins would be good but going well at Chaventry and what $20 million debt????

Training in Normanton Park, dump a bucket of sand outside the East Stand and open up a themed nightclub with old Pink Coconut DJ's. Profits of which will keep the leccy on.

Keep Calm
And
PANIC

Rod Liddle ......who said that he couldn't become a teacher because he would be tempted to have under age 5ex with pupils.

Check his bio out on Wikipedia, he was doing OK until the personal section and then promptly abdicated all rights to offering moral judgements.

You could swap his bio for a bloke in a much more prominent position in the country, (who also knows nowt).

Rod Liddle the Millwall fan.

I see Crystal Palace have got several players out of contract according to the BBC. Scott Dann is one of them and at the age of 34 could do a job for us as captain next season.

Which are these high earners which we can sell? We'll be lucky to give them away.

Rod Liddle, ooh I'm working class made good but never left my roots, my ar$e. A fascist writing for a tory rag.

Saw Scott Carson turned out for the Premier League champions at the weekend. Hopefully City will take a few more of our high earners. Pep drops Sterling for Waghorn, headline you will never read.

We wont have a recognised central defender next season, I remember when we had them crawling out of the woodwork. No goal scorer either. We would probably have been better off being relegated. At least some of our academy players would not be out of their depth and some might make the leap from U23s to grown ups football.

Not sure we had much of a recognised striker or central defender this season so no change there

Allison could teach Matt Clarke a trick or two

Like how to look all macho with a name like Allison. Bit like Johnny Cash's Boy named Sue.

I was actually referring to Clark maybe getting an attacking header on target for a change, (and maybe even scoring an odd one)?

When was the last time we had a CH who could score with his noggin. Keogh was crap and got worse?

Mart Poom managed score a last minute equaliser, unfortunately for Sunderland against us.
Most central defenders tend to head over the bar from corners as they are tall to start with and their training is to head the ball upwards as a defensive header rather than down like a forward. Bucko was more effective being a bit shorter and scored quite a few headers from set pieces.

Lewis Dunk seems to score a lot of headers but he tends to make his space for the headers by pushing the envelope of what is fair to the limit.
