Obviously we have bigger things to focus on, would have been pleasant to win yesterday...but we got beat by a worldie goal & two worldy saves...respect

I don't think it's even bitter. Just a deranged wum desperate for any form of attention.

I think going all in on Jose has left him without a leg to stand on so he's now just lashing out at anyone with no coherent plan.

Where do I start without putting my foot in it...

I don’t usually post threads about this fellow Sandy. The last time we had a “conflab” it related to the greatest goalscorer in English football and we were politely at odds over that one. After that, I didn’t see fit to post anything on any of his articles.

Someone mentioned that he is who he says he is, a pensioner, a keen Spurs follower and has been for many years. I personally would have thought he’d have the mindset of genuine old-time fan and bring all his memories and good wishes to the fore. Someone you would be keen to sit next to in the ground (well, you can’t be next to someone right now, of course), and go on and on for ages about those distant years, regardless of who you support. God forgive anyone who has had to sit alongside me in the past or may have to at some time in the future.

I regarded Spurs very favourably during the time I spent in digs just a stone’s throw away from The Lane in the 70’s & 80’s and, as you have probably gathered, I won’t say a bad word about them. I spent many a great afternoon and evening at the Spurs ground. The atmosphere was usually terrific and a good few tins were opened on the nights they won the FA Cup in 1982 & 1983, I can tell you. I even met some of the players in a local night club and I could bore peeps to tears about the outstanding Spurs players I saw during those years.

This site is pretty toxic at the best of times, but given the circumstances that this Leicester lot have finally won something that has eluded them for so long, I would have thought a well-wishing general message be the order of the day.

Perhaps I’m part of a dying breed, but I can’t change my ways I’m afraid.

Unfortunately football is riddled with tribal bias and venom. This has increased to pathetic levels in recent times, due to the ability for a little saddo's to hide behind a computer screen, acting like "the big man"

Spurs, in particular take considerable flake from just about everywhere these day. Such hatred comes around in circles. In the 70's everyone hated Leeds, then it was Utd in the 90's, and now, for whatever strange reason, it is Spurs. A club that don't threaten anyone's team for trophies, which is the usual reason. Utd won everything, so let's hate them syndrome.

The whole wumming thing is a bit pathetic, and whilst it used to usually just relate to your local rivals ( Spurs hate Arsenal etc ) it is now a free for all.

For me, what everyone is missing whilst they throw insults everywhere, is that City are quitetly goning abiout their business, dominating our game and winning everything.
This will continue for years to come, and should be the main thing fans should be worrying about, not throwing mud at teams that just form part of the chasing pack. Do we ALL want another Bayern or PSG situation in our league, where the outcome is already known before a ball is kicked ?

Oh and just a little footnote, Spurs won the FA Cup in 81 and 82 ( not 83 )
