Inspired by rewatching the doors earlier.,
The 27 club. Musicians /famous types who’ve burned it at both ends and rode the highway to the great beyond well before their years.
These guys and girls had at best 10-12 years of pure excess hedonisimn and carnage before it the reaper called.
If you could live one of their lives for the 5-10 (doesn't have to be a 27 member, just someone recognisable who died young) Years preceding joining the club, who do you choose? For me Jim Morrison, that guy had some crazy times.
Who’s your pick, here’s a few;
Robert Johnson (father of blues, he who sold is soul to the devil at the crossroads)
Jim Morrison
Hendrix
Brian Jones
Any winehouse
Janis Joplin
Kurt cobain
Jade goody (spot the odd one out)
Anton yeltsin
Richie edwards
Off topic- the 27 club

Add Jeff Buckley to that list. Unbelievable talent.

His father Tim Buckley died at a similar age. They barely knew each other. Eerily similar voices.
As to the OP, I have to say the older I get, the less glamorous I find the idea of overdosing in my 20s and dying in a pool of bodily fluids.

Easy choice for Jim Morrison.
Though with Kurt you could live those last moments and find out if you did it yourself or not...

Same goes for Jimmy, there's quite a bit of mystery about the circumstances if his death too.

the Pen 15 club is the best. To join you just have to write Pen 15 on your forehead and walk around with it there for the day.

Nirvana was my favourite band growing up in the states in the 90’s however Kurt had heroin issues.
Wouldn’t fancy living that.

Not to mention agonising stomach pains that baffled every doctor he saw.
I'd probably choose Jeff Buckley, just to be responsible for such transcendental music as a few of the songs on Grace.

She was on the list I used to compile it, and kept her in to see who’d notice

And another 27 club member. Brian Jones.
