Ten years ago I came across JA606 after the demise of BBC606. Lots of forums were formed at that time but JA606 took over the BBC606 format and so attracted many old BBC606ers who liked the format.
Well 10 years later it is still around despite the many changing social formats and outlets. I still can spot some of the old names from the BBC days. Are you still one of them logging on occasionally. I wonder how many still log on to either contribute, enjoy the banter and well informed opinions
I joined May 18 2011. Are there any longer in the tooth JA606ers still around ?
I do know it is run and financed simply by adverts that keep popping up on the site. So I suppose if we wish JA606 to continue we should occasionally visit the odd advert and help our site along.

Just checked my profile page and I joined the day before you - I had no idea it was that long. In that period my club (Leicester City) have achieved 2 out of my 3 ambitions so I mustn't grumble.
Been a brilliant forum and I'm sure will still be going strong when I shuffle off this mortal coil, but not just yet I hope

It's literally the same as 606. If you join a forum including the name "606" after the original forum closed against your will, that's one of the things you're probably looking for.

Just noticed some new comments after a break. JA606 quickly grew from BBC606 due to having exactly the same format and so the transition was easy. Lots of new forums were developed and stiĺl exist and some folded. As new social media areas grow it becomes difficult to maintain a level of media income.
Bottom line is if we don't use it we could lose it.
So...use it.
