No chance but that's still the most talented 11.

Yeah possibly but Clarke hasn’t got the balls to play it
Safety first in the opening game

The question is can Clarke go into the first game with 2 European cup winners and play neither of them?

Disappointed but not surprised that Gauld missed out to Turnbull. I like Turnbull, he's a good player, but I think Gauld offers more and can also play in the wider areas if required.
Not surprised that Shankland missed out. I think he's a better player than Nisbett but he's missed out because he's had to play in a team that doesn't try to attack all season. If Shankland had been at Hibs I'd wager he would have scored more goals than Nisbett, but such is life.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Gilmour start games in this tournament as it's basically between him and McTominay to play the holding role.

Ivan I have to disagree with you on that.
Nesbitt causes us problems when we play against him - he is more physical than Shankland.
I think Shankland may be a decent finisher but his all round game has always seemed pretty weak against us.
Nesbitt is slightly more hit and miss with his finishing but he is much more of a presence for me.
I still dont think Nesbitt is that great btw but he has made a wee impression playing against us whereas Shankland has done the square root of nowt.

Good to see that the ban on Patterson hasn’t affected his international career.
