With the very real prospect of no European

Football of any kind next season, the squad as it stands is far to big. It needs to be halved. Most will get zero game time the side of Xmas, other than one League Cup game at Stoke, which Spurs will lose.

So who stays, and who goes. Time for a mass clearout. However little Spurs get for the players, lots have to be moved on. Half a dozen years together and zilch to show for it. Times up for most of them.

All definitely gone I reckon

Toby
Dier
Regulion
Winks
Sissoko
N`dombele
Bale
Lamela
Dele
Moura
Kane

So next seasons line up could look like this

Lloris (if he signs a new contract)
Aurier
Rodon
Sanchez
Davies
Hojberg
Lo Celso
New CM
Son
Bergwijn
New Striker

Subs bench filled with youngsters

Well you have to start somewhere

I think Son will be gone too.
Why would he stay....contract up....Kane gone....?

Why would we cut almost half of our 25 man squad?

Saying that, I think we'd all be more forgiving seeing some effort put in from Skipp, Scarlett, Parrot, White, Tanganga, Sessegnon etc in a weekly basis even if made for a turbulent season.

(and Davies gets a really rough ride from fans cause he's always back up to more 'exciting' left backs, but is always pretty solid and plays with far more desire to win than most in our squad)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've always rated Davies, such an underated player.

I've always found him a bit safe and underwhelming but after watching Reg in recent games I'm keener on him now.

I wish he'd played today.

Skipp must be given a proper chance to establish himself in our midfield next season.

The time now is right for a proper rebuild; no European football seems likely, a new manager needed, and our star player is wanting to leave. The club is low on money and sadly Kane is the one way with which to fund the team.

ENIC and Levy have now seen a great team come and go without winning a thing, and that is on their heads. They have to try to redeem themselves from this point onwards. This season is the biggest wake up call these caants have had as to how they're running of the club isn't working.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Look whilst ENIC may be partly to blame, the players have to shoulder most of it. They have completely failed to turn up when it ever matters. They are spineless and gutless. Until you change the players, nothing is changing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And who changes the players? ENIC and Levy....precisely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I actually blame managers also...they continuously select the same shoddy players. Its like a death wish. We all know which players out in effort, which players can defend. Which players can unlock defences but Jose and Mason keep selecting otherwise.

I don’t expect us to clear out many players by the look of Levy’s statement. With him saying he was expecting a better season with the team he has built, so expect to see the same sheite minus Kane and Son.

The thing is that whether I like Kane, Hugo, Dier, Toby, Dele, Davies, Winks, Son and Lamela or not they have all been at the club for a while and are synonymous with failure.

Probably best to consider this era passed and press the reset button.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely Pawl. Sometimes it is just not to be. This squad are getting infinitely worse over the past twenty four months,. Needs to be completely broken up.

ENIC have spent nearly a quarter of a billion on players last couple of seasons. Are you suggesting thst every two years the club spends that amount on players that fail time after time.

We need a massive clear out, in time for next season...

Don’t think I could stand to see another gutless, insipid season again...

Lloris not signing a new contract..
Aurier won’t be offered a new contact either...
No European football next season, so we will need a smaller squad...

Out: Lloris
Aurier
Donerty
Sanchez
Dier
Winks
Sissoko
Dele Ali
