Hopefully this has no bearing at all on tonight's match.

Another omen is that United have won every European Final in which they've worn red (out of the seven finals we've played so far we've only been in red twice!)

Have we beaten them though? I only remember 0-0s and a Rooney red card. Think Ronaldo might have got sent off against them as well?

All set up for a pulsating encounter tonight then.

I hope United have been practising taking penalties and just think of it as another "away" game. I hope we don't give away a sloppy early goal, as usual, and have to chase the game.
Obviously a British club is going to get the CL/European Cup but it would be nice to get this one as well.
Luckily United have a manager that has "got the T-shirt"
as a player and is laid-back enough to keep the team calm. Don't react to any provocation, keep 11 men on the pitch and if we have to win it in the 95th minute that's OK. Good luck United.

And yes you are right; they have all been 0-0. But this is a final. We all get excited but they can turn out to be dour and boring wuth managers being too frightened to lose.
