I'd be really happy if anybody knew what irony actually is, the definition I mean. Everybody seems to think that they are an inaccurate Canadian singer.

Ole and most man u fans thought finishing 2nd would be considered a success adding to that winning a trophy. Finishing second when all other teams including City having major problems is poor . Man U didn't have any major injuries yet after losing just one player for a couple of games they crumble.

City started badly and everyone thought Liverpool would walk the league but unfortunately Liverpool then lost all their centre backs and then suffered injury after injury. Chelsea bought so many new players and it was always going to be difficult to challenge for the league. Tottenham and the rest have gone worse than previous years.

74 points ??? That must the lowest in years for finidhing secind. Are they the worst runners up. Liverpool got 97 points two seasons ago.

They also bottle the EL against a team finished 7th in their league in one of the worst finals seen. It looked more like a game between two championship sides.

74 might only earn 4th some years.

Last year they got only 66th and fell into the cl due to Leicester issues.

This final was a lot of disrespect for their rival, assuming villareal would be easy to beat.

It was bad enough going out at the semi's last time...this is hilarious losing on pens to Spanish Wolves🇪🇸🐺🤭

This year EL was easily the worse in the history of the competition. Three of the semifinalist finished ed 7th or lower in their domestic leagues. Yet Man Utd still couldn't win it.

So, we have witnessed two of the worse PL and EL comptetions when most teams had been poor and had problems like injuries and being in trasitions yet Man Utd who had been the biggest spenders in Europe and had no major injury issues most of the time during the season, ended the year trophy less
